Sickening Calm is an illustrated Zine based on the poem Fair Weather by Dorothy Parker. The increasing scale and intensity of a wave illustrate the increasing desire and need for a passionate love. Throughout the zine, typographical hierarchy through scale, repetition, and opacity is utilized to create an evolving design.
